About Our School

What Makes Us Special

Collier Elementary School is nestled near the Catalina mountains making its positive, supportive environment all the more special. Children at Collier are taught to think and problem solve, to communicate and to function sensitively and successfully in a complex, changing, and culturally diverse world.

Collier students are “Caring Cougars.” They practice kindness and the 4 B’s: Be safe, Be Responsible, Be Respectful and Be Caring.

We have strong parent and community partnerships to support students’ academic, social, and emotional growth. These include many enrichment activities and family friendly events.

Additionally, Collier hosts a Community School, which provides outstanding preschool, before, and after-school programs.

Parent Reviews

Collier has provided such a supportive learning environment for our kids. Teachers and staff know their names and greet them in the halls, they've made friends they're excited to see every day, and get to participate in fun activities like field trips, music and arts, sports, and creative lessons in their classrooms. We've had fun attending after school events like movie nights, park days, and learning nights at the school as well. We love Collier and are so grateful for the community we have there.

Collier Elementary is unique because the small student population creates a wonderful, tight-knit community atmosphere where children receive personalized attention and guidance. We have experienced first-hand the excellent programs that allow for quick intervention when a student is struggling to meet academic goals. My child is thriving at Collier and I feel good knowing she is safe, happy, and well-cared for!”

Collier is such a wonderful community - it truly feels like family. From our very first week there, the teachers and staff knew us and our daughter by name, and were always excited to see her! The environment provided for learning and social development is one of a kind, truly special, and so appreciated. Go Cougars!
